S.S. Rajamouli directed south Indian epic action-drama film Baahubali 2 is one of the biggest grossing movies of India. Following the previous successful film Baahubali-The Beginning, it is the 2nd installment to the franchise. the film has been distributed by Dharma Productions(Hindi Version), Global United Media(Malayalam version), K Productions(Tamil Version) and Arka Media Works(Telugu Version). 250 crore INR budget film collected a huge amount of 1810 crore in the box office which was the biggest grosser for any Indian movie of all time. On 28th April 2017, it has been released theatrically and started breaking box office records.
The story is written by Rajamouli’s father K.V Vijayendra Prasad. The production has been launched at Ramoji Film City in December 2015. The production company is Arka Media Production and producers are Prasad Devineni and Shobu Yarlagadda. It has been rated 8.3/10 by IMDb and got positive reviews by the critics.
The lead role of Baahubali done by Prabhas and the female lead role Devsena played by Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati as the main villain Bhallaldev, Ramya Krishnan as Raajmaata Shivgami, Sathyaraj as Katappa and Nassar as Bhajjaldeva. Continuing the story of Baahubali 1 in this 2nd movie Shiva the son of Baahubali learns about his heritage and his parents and Mahishmati kingdom, the story of passed Mahendra Baahubali has been screened so beautifully and after that Shiva(Amarendra Baahubali) took revenge. The epic storyline with action and drama is classic that the audience became crazy and emotional too.
