American English film Kong: Skull Island is the reboot of King Kong. After the success of King Kong, a sequel was awaited that has been released on 10th March 2017 in the United States. As expected it is also a box office bomb. $185 million budget made film collected the big amount of $567 million in the box office worldwide. It has been premiered before theatrical release on 28th February 2017 at Empire License Square. It is a Science fiction fantasy film based on a monster named King kong.
American Television and film director Jordan Vogt-Robert directed the film which is written by Dan Gilroy, Darek Connolly, and Max Borenstein. Critics gave it positive reviews and IMDb rated this 6.6/10. It is based on John Gartin’s story Distributed by Warner Bros Pictures. Production Companies are Tencent Pictures and Legendary Pictures and the producers are Mary Parent, Jon Jashni, Thomas Tull and Alex Garcia. It received a nomination on the 90th Academy Award for Best Visual Effect.
The casts are Tom Hiddleston, John Goodman, Samuel L. Jackson Brie Larson, Jing Tian, Toby Kebbell, and others. the story shows a crew in the kong island attacked by an ape that is huge and humongous. There is another sequel announced, Godzilla vs. Kong is scheduled for release on 13th March 2020.
