The pandemic has rejuvenated our love for games. People all across the country are finding games to play during their free time. Several online websites have come up with different kinds of games to serve different types of audiences. Be it card games or ludo, you will always find apps and websites that allow you to play these games.

What makes these websites even more exciting is the fact that some of them even allow you to play for money which can be a great impetus for people who love to play. Since you know how to play them, you have a better chance at bagging some money.

Some even try to make their game better by understanding and learning the techniques that will improve their game. For example, if you want to play poker, make sure that you know the poker chart and how the game works. Knowing the poker chart will give you an upper hand when playing with a less serious player. Similarly, if you are interested in other games, try to look for their strong edges and see how you can improve.

Here we have listed a few techniques in the most popular games that would help you win them easily. Find out how many you already know and learn the ones you didn’t.

No-Limit Texas Hold’em- Play Fewer hands but Aggressively

You cannot go on playing starting hands in No-Limit Texas Hold’em. There is a limitation to how many you can before the flop. Thus if you keep on playing too many hands, there is a high chance that you will end up bleeding away your chip stack. Develop a solid preflop strategy by understanding the poker chart and trying to stick to your strategy. Do not be impulsive and keep playing hands when you do not have a deserving one. Do not get impatient and play a range of strong hands and play them aggressively. When you play all your hands aggressively, you succeed in disguising the strength of your actual hand. This will make it extremely tough for your opponents.

Playing fewer and aggressive hands works great in Poker.

Poker- Bluff When the Time is Right

Bluffing is an integral part of any poker game. You need not read a poker chart to understand where you should bluff and where you should not. As you play, you get the hang of it. However, many people use too much bluff. And a strategy that has its roots only in bluffing is bound to fall flat on its face after a while, as your opponents will soon understand your game and you will be exposed. Therefore, let your card decide if it is your time to bluff or not. For example, bluffing with draw cards can be extremely good for your game.

Blackjack- Split a Pair of Aces and 8s

When you get a pair of 8s and Aces, the best thing you can do is split them up. Most players would be reluctant to do so when the dealer’s upcard is an Ace, 9 or 10. Agreed that these are a huge underdog in such a situation but you can win more in the long run if you split your 8s and Aces. It will either help you cut your losses or make you win more money.

Splitting a pair of aces is one of the best moves you can implement in your game of Blackjack.

Blackjack- Hit a Hard 12 Against the Dealer’s 2 or 3 Upcard

Most players would not hit a hard 12 in a situation where the dealer’s card is 2 or 3 as they fear busting. But the truth is if your dealer has 2 or 3 as an upcard, you will anyway lose money in the long run even if you stand. However, by hitting, you lose less money even at the risk of busting.

Rummy- Draw from the Discards Carefully

While playing Rummy, people pull cards from the discard pile too often. While you may feel that this will increase your chance of completing a run, it can hamper your game.

When you pick a card from the discard pile, you miss the opportunity to view the top card which may have completed a run for you. And secondly, it gives your opponent a chance to see what card you take from the pile. For example, if you pick three of clubs to match the three of hearts, you may never get the third three as your opponent will try to hold on to that card till the end in order to deprive you of completing a run.

Rummy: Retain in Memory the Cards that are Being Discarded

The discard pile is an important weapon for Rummy players. It is as important as knowing your poker chart. It can give you important details about your opponent’s hand. Cards close to the ones your opponent is discarding are generally safer to throw away. If you pay attention, you will know what cards are left in the deck. If two 4s have been discarded, there is no way your pair of 4s will become a meld. Thus it is safe to throw them away.

Pool- Disrupt the Chances Your Opponent Might Get

The idea of Pool is to hit the shots that are available to you from among the chosen balls. But in case you do not have a shot and are sure that none of your balls could be potted, do not feel disappointed or throw away the attempt by trying to make a pot. Instead, hit one of the balls that can nullify your opponent’s chances. You can do this by moving the easiest shots away from the potholes. This way they will land up at a position from where it will be difficult for your opponent to make a hit.

The above-mentioned strategies have helped enormous people play and win their respective games. These will also help you get the best bet at any website. Whether you play for money or not, these strategies will make your gameplay smarter and more exciting.
